Islam in the perspective of historical Andalusian, by Hajj Khalid Nieto

On Friday, February 24th, Hajj Khalid Nieto, spokesman for the Seville Mosque Foundation, is invited to give a talk titled, ‘Islam in the perspective of an historical Andalusia’, to where you are all invited.

The class will cover four points.

  1. Valuation of the book “History and culture of the Andalusian people” (Anagrama 1973) by Jose Acosta Sanchez, professor of political law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
  2.  Concept of historical continuity of the social formation of the south of the peninsula.
  3. A valued reading of the civilization of Al Andalus.
  4. Brief perspective of historical andalusian and its valuation of Islam.

This class is part of a series of talks organized by the Andalusian Muslim Community on Spirituality, Islam and Andalusia, held every Friday at 9pm at its center at C/ Valle, 24 (Puerta Osario).
