The President of the Islamic Community in Spain, Miguel \u00c1ngel Ruiz requested, in December 2003, the grant of land for the construction of a Mosque to the Seville City Council.<\/p>\n
After the construction of the Granada Mosque in the albayz\u00edn neighborhood, inaugurated in July 2003, in front of the Alhambra palace and by virtue of the great success in reception and meeting place of cultures that this project entailed, the steps for the construction of a center with similar characteristics in the Andalusian capital.<\/p>\n
