{"id":24104,"date":"2026-07-10T16:56:47","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T16:56:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/announcement\/islamic-cultural-center-of-seville-current-status-of-the-project-2\/"},"modified":"2026-07-10T16:58:59","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T16:58:59","slug":"islamic-cultural-center-of-seville-current-status-of-the-project-2","status":"publish","type":"te_announcements","link":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/en\/announcement\/islamic-cultural-center-of-seville-current-status-of-the-project-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Islamic Cultural Center of Seville \u2013 Current status of the project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">After the important progress achieved with the <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">favorable opinion of the Technical Section of the Urban Planning Management<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">, received in writing, the project has entered a new phase within the mandatory legal procedure for obtaining the Building License, and we are currently waiting for the final resolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">In recent days, a <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">technical appeal<\/span> has been filed<\/strong><span class=\"\"> by the political party VOX, which is part of the Executive Committee. This appeal, which is part of the ordinary procedures provided for by law, has been received by the municipal services, who now proceed to study and analyse it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">From the Seville City Council, we have been conveyed a message of <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">tranquility and institutional normality<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">. The Mayor has publicly stressed that &#8220;ideologies are not above laws&#8221;, trusting that the procedure will be resolved with all the legal and technical guarantees. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">The <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">technical and legal advisory services of<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\"> the consistory are already working on the review of the issues raised in the appeal, to issue the corresponding reports.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">The next <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">Executive Committee<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\"> is convened for <\/span><strong><span class=\"\">Tuesday 21<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">, where this point will be addressed and it is hoped to move towards the final positive resolution, with the confidence that we have taken all the legal and mandatory steps to make it so on our part.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"parent":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","class_list":["post-24104","te_announcements","type-te_announcements","status-publish","","timeline_express_categories-fundacion-en","timeline-mezquita-en"],"announcement_date":"Announcement Date: 10\/07\/2026","announcement_image":{"iframe":false,"url":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01_FACHADA.jpg"},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/announcement\/24104","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/announcement"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/te_announcements"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=24104"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mezquitadesevilla.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=24104"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
