The Seville Mosque Foundation was created in 2005<\/strong> as a legal tool, serving the Muslims of Seville and for the construction of the Mosque and Cultural Centre. Registered with the Ministry of Education and Culture, 651CUL.<\/strong> Since then, more than 20 years ago, we have worked incessantly for this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In January 2014, the governing board of the Seville Mosque Foundation was renewed, and with it the intention of providing the city with a space that meets the needs of the Muslim population.<\/strong> A project that has been carried out since its inception in an open and transparent way, facing its inhabitants and institutions, through our media and all those national and international media that have echoed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this time, the Fundaci\u00f3n Mezquita de Sevilla has done extensive and successful work gathering governmental, institutional and economic support for this purpose in various countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville<\/a> is based on the successful precedent that the Great Mosque of Granada<\/a> and its cultural center have supposed, which is endorsed by more than 20 years of experience,<\/strong> as an example of coexistence with the neighbourhood and the authorities of the city. Like the Seville Mosque Foundation, they are covered by the agreements of the State with the Islamic Commission of Spain, through its founder, the Islamic Community in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A project based on service, involvement and social responsibility, and strengthening the ties of all members of Sevillian society. The Islamic Cultural Centre of Seville will undoubtedly open new doors to a space for dialogue that will be transformed into richness at all levels. A space of relationship that dignifies and takes Islam and Muslims out of the ground and local, and where Islam can be appreciated for its reality and its light. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
