On November 10th,\n the Mosque Foundation of Seville had the honor and pleasure of receiving at its\nheadquarters His Excellency Mr. Cihad Erginay, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey\nin Spain. He was accompanied on this visit by the Honorary Consul of the Republic\nof Turkey in Seville, Mr. Manuel Moreno and the Counselor of Culture of the\nEmbassy of Turkey, Mr. Ersin Adig\u00fczel. <\/p>\n\n

During the visit, he\nwas shown the Foundation’s facilities and was informed about the activities\ncarried out by the Foundation throughout this year and the activities\ncarried out in cooperation with Turkish entities. The Ambassador was very\ninterested in the status of the project to build the Islamic Cultural\nCentre in Seville and was open to further cooperation in order to find ways\nof supporting this project and other projects of various kinds. <\/p>\n\n

At the end of the visit, the president of the Foundation, Ibrahim Hern\u00e1ndez and Hajj Abdelghani Melara presented him with a plaque, a detailed report of the activities carried out by the Foundation in the years 2018\/2019 and a copy of the Koran translated by Hajj Abdelghani Melara and published in Turkey and donated to the Foundation by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Turkey through its Embassy in Spain. From the Mosque of Seville Foundation we would like to thank the Ambassador, Mr. Manuel Moreno and Mr. Ersin Adig\u00fczel for their visit and we hope that it will serve to continue strengthening relations with the Embassy of Turkey, with the Republic of Turkey and to be able to continue developing common projects in the future. <\/p>\n\n
