On October 16, the official presentation of the organization\nCOAMUR (Andalusian Coordinator of Rural Women’s Organizations) took place at the headquarters of the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation\n, to which\nthe Mosque Foundation of Seville was invited courtesy of the ASIA Foundation\n.<\/p>\n\n

The event was attended by various political personalities,\n such as Exc. Mayor of Seville, Mr. Juan Espadas Cejas, Ms. Susana D\u00edaz,\n Deputy of the PSOE in the Parliament of Andalusia, Ms. Roc\u00edo Ruiz Dom\u00ednguez,\n Minister of Equality, Social Policies and Conciliation of the Junta de\nAndaluc\u00eda, Ms. Roc\u00edo Sutil Dom\u00ednguez, Deputy for Equality and Social\nCohesion of the Provincial Council of Seville, Mr. Charif Cherkaoui, Consul of Morocco and Mr. Jos\u00e9\nManuel Cervera, Director of the Three Cultures Foundation. The Fundaci\u00f3n Mezquita\nde Sevilla was represented by Ms. F\u00e1tima Zamorano Garc\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n

The presentation of the COAMUR organization was given by\nMs. Adela Romero Ruano, president of COAMUR and Ms. Francisca Gago Aguilera,\n president of the Federation of Associations of Women Sol Rural, who\nexplained to the audience the reason for the creation of COAMUR, its\nobjectives and fields of action, whose purpose is to show the role of women in the history of the\nrural world, exposing the invisibility of their work and their necessary\nintervention in the agrarian economy. <\/p>\n\n

After this, the alliances and fields of action\nof this organization were presented by the different presidents of the\norganizations with which COAMUR maintains these relations. <\/p>\n\n

In this table, various topics of action were presented,\n such as agrarian sustainability, the role of rural women, the paradigm shift\nof poverty and ignorance as a clich\u00e9, the empowerment of shared\nownership of agricultural activity, the rise of service sectors\nand companies in agricultural areas, the diversification of employment and the multi-labor option\nof the farmer and especially the protection of rural\n womeninvisible and gender violence in the elderly.<\/p>\n\n

After this, a concert by the artist Lourdes Pastor Mart\u00ednez and a farewell drink by Natural Catering were offered. From the Mosque Foundation of Seville we offer our full support to this initiative and we want to wish the best of luck to the COAMUR Foundation in the development of its activities, since the protection and development of women is an issue of social priority, in pursuit of achieving a fairer society and world. where rights and freedoms are given to all people equally and inequalities end up disappearing. <\/p>\n\n
