The official opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the Islamic Festival of M\u00e9rtola took place yesterday May 19, in the late afternoon, in the amphitheater of the Castle of M\u00e9rtola.<\/p>\n\n
The opening session was marked by the presence of Ana Abrunhosa, Minister of Territorial Cohesion; Ceia da Silva, President of CCDRA; MPs N\u00e9lson Brito and Pedro do Carmo; Ana Paula Amendoeira, Regional Director of Culture of Alentej; Ant\u00f3nio Bota, President of CIMBAL; Hon.\nSr.\nAmbassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco in Portugal, Othman Bahnini; Vitor Fernandez da Silva, President of the Regional Tourism Authority of Alentejo e Ribatejo and Khalid Nietto, Vice President of the Seville Mosque Foundation. <\/p>\n\n
