Organized by Al Mansura and with the participation of Hajj Jalid Nieto, vice-president of the Seville Mosque Foundation.<\/p>\n\n

On Saturday, February 19, an event for peace was held in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural Biblioteca de Montequinto.<\/p>\n\n

In the first part, the poet living in Seville, Maritx\u00e9 Abad i Bueno, was named president of the poetic group Al Mansura, and the journalist and poet Nuria del Saz, from Seville, was named honorary president.<\/p>\n\n

The president of Al Mansura Mr. \u00c1ngel L. Alonso gave the Universal Flag of Peace to the new presidents so that they can show it in the acts where the poetic collective participates.<\/p>\n\n

In the second part, two poems were recited by all the guests.\nOne of them was to be dedicated to the theme of peace.\nIt was in this block where our vice-president participated as a poet reading two compositions from his book “La huella de la palabra”. <\/p>\n\n

Hajj Khalid Nieto made clear with his attendance to this event his vocation for Peace and Concord among the peoples of the world.<\/p>\n\n

At a time when nations have not just abandoned warmongering, our Foundation has taken advantage of this invitation to link us to the action for Peace through culture, which was the exponent of this call.<\/p>\n\n
