Medinense with the exception of aleya 281 which descended in Mina during the Ha\u0177\u0177 of the Farewell. It has 286 verses and is the first sura that descended in Medina. In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. <\/p>\n\n
(255)\nAllah, no hay dios sino \u00c9l, el Viviente, el Sustentador*. Neither drowsiness nor sleepiness affects you. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth. Who can intercede for anyone before Him, except by His permission? He knows what lies before them and what lies behind them*. And encompass nothing of His knowledge but what He wills. The footstool of His Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth and causes Him no fatigue to maintain them.
