Ibrahim Hern\u00e1ndez, Luqman Nieto and Hajj Jalid, president, vice-president and head of communication of the Mosque of Seville Foundation, had a meeting yesterday with Bartolom\u00e9 M\u00e1rquez, First Deputy Mayor, Eli Moya, Councillor for Culture, and Yolanda Benabat of the Almonaster la Real City Council, to prepare the XIX Conference on Islamic Culture.
\nThis event, which has been taking place since 2000, has become a reference, both culturally and touristically and academically, of past and present Islamic culture.
\nThe different activities that take place, including exhibitions, symposiums, conferences, market, concerts and many more, attract a large number of visitors to this beautiful town framed in the Sierra de Aracena.
\nYesterday’s meeting between representatives of the Mosque Foundation of Seville and the city council of Almonaster la Real, had as its purpose the organization of the XIX Conference of Islamic Culture that will take place between October 11 and 14, God willing.
