Tafsir (commentary and explanation of the Qur’an) class, given by Imam Hajj Abdel Gani Melara, in which he explains the tafsir, based on several of the recognized commentators, of the following surahs of the Qur’an: <\/p>\n

103. TIME SURA<\/strong> In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n

\n

(1) For Time*! *[This oath may also be understood: In the evening!; or, By the time of ‘Asr! (the evening prayer), according to the meanings of the Arabic term.] <\/span>(2) That it is true that man is in loss.
\n*[That is to say: He is in a becoming of diminishment, of diminishment; he progressively loses everything he has as he approaches death. Some commentators understand another meaning, in a certain way complementary: “man walks towards perdition, except those who believe, etc…”] <\/span>(3) But not so those who believe, do good deeds, entrust to themselves the truth, and entrust patience to themselves <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

95. SURAH OF FIGS<\/strong> In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. <\/p>\n

(1) For the fruit of the fig tree and the olive tree!
\n(2) By Mount Sinin*!
\n*[Sinin means blessed and corresponds to Sinai, the mountain where Allah spoke to Musa.] (3) For this safe land!
\n(4) That we truly create man in the best harmony, (5) and then make him one of the lowest.
\n(6) Except those who believe and do good deeds, for they will have a reward that does not cease.
\n(7) And how can you, after this, deny Accountability?
\n(8) Is not Allah the most righteous of judges? <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Classes are open, every Monday between the Maghrib and Isha\u0144 salats. It is a unique opportunity that we have in Seville to be able to benefit from these classes of Hajj Abdel Gani, to whom we are tremendously grateful for his service and dedication.
\n\u2014 Hajj Abdel Gani’s first major project was to undertake the translation of the Qur’an into the Spanish language, which involved a process of almost twenty years in which other Spanish Muslims collaborated and in which he studied the traditional tafsirs and sought an expression in the Spanish language that was appropriate for the people of this time.
\nThis translation has been published several times.
\nOne of them by the Mujamma’ al-Malik Fahd li \u1e6ciba’a al-Mu\u1e63\u1e25af ash-Sharif of Medina al-Munawwara, being required by such a body due to the prestige he already enjoyed among Spanish speakers.
\nAnd another by the Turkish Ministry of Religious Affairs of Turkey, among several other editions no less careful and important.
\nHe has also translated such important texts as: Mukhta\u1e63ar al-Bukhari, al-Muwwa\u1e6d\u1e6da of Imam Malik, ash-Shifa and Qawa’id al-Islam, both of the qa\u1e0di ‘Iya\u1e0d, the diwan of the shaikh Mu\u1e25ammad ibn al-\u1e24abib and Tanbih al-Ghafilin of as-Samarqandi. <\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
