On April 29, the Mosque Foundation of Seville had the pleasure of attending the official presentation of the XIII Islamic Festival of M\u00e9rtola at the esteemed Three Cultures Foundation of Seville. We extend our sincere thanks to the Three Cultures Foundation for their invaluable role and generosity in this important presentation. <\/p>\n\n

We are also honoured by the presence of the Mayor of Almonaster la Real, Jacinto Jos\u00e9 V\u00e1zquez, along with his delegation. Your attendance underscores the joint collaborative efforts in promoting the Islamic Cultural Festivals of both Almonaster La Real and M\u00e9rtola, respectively. <\/p>\n\n

The event served as an exciting preview of the festival, which will be held in the beautiful city of M\u00e9rtola from May 22 to 25. We are honoured by the presence and insightful interventions of several distinguished speakers, including the Mayor of M\u00e9rtola, M\u00e1rio Jos\u00e9 Santos Tom\u00e9, the Vice-President and Councillor, Rosinda Maria Freire Pepper and the representative of the Portuguese Consulate in Seville. The Head of Tourism and Promotion of the Alentejo, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Santos, and our esteemed Vice President, Hayy Khalid Nieto, also shared their perspectives. <\/p>\n\n

Our distinguished guest from the Emirates, Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Almehyas, delivered a few particularly moving words, further highlighting the importance of cultural exchange and mutual understanding.<\/p>\n\n

The Mezquita de Sevilla Foundation wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the Municipal Chamber of M\u00e9rtola for extending the invitation to be part of this presentation. We also extend our thanks to everyone who attended the event and to all those who are working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that the XIII Islamic Festival of Mertola is a resounding success. <\/p>\n\n

The presentation offered a taste of the vibrant atmosphere to come, including a captivating concert by the group Al\u00e9m Kabul and a delicious food tasting.
