Today we have received at the Mosque Foundation of Seville a group, mostly women, from Bosnia and linked to the Nahla Education and Research Centre, in Sarajevo.<\/p>\n
It was they who requested the meeting, with a double purpose: to meet us personally and to see first-hand how the project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville is going. The visit has been marked by affection and mutual interest, and by the shared desire to strengthen ties between Muslim communities from different parts of Europe.<\/p>\n
As a sign of this twinning, our guests presented us with a book about the mosques of Bosnia that we will keep with great affection. For our part, we reciprocated with a leather calligraphy like those that can be seen on the Door of Forgiveness of the Cathedral of Seville, a detail that we wanted to share as a symbol of the link between our city and its heritage.<\/p>\n
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your visit and your interest. As we always remember, the mosque has its doors open: any group or person who wants to visit us, learn about the project or simply chat with us will be welcome.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
