Invitation to the closing ceremony of the Scholas Occurrentes Scholas Occurrentes Foundation’s Scholas Citizenship Program

The Seville Mosque Foundation participated last Friday, October 21, in the closing ceremony of the Scholas Ciudadanía program of the Scholas Ocurrentes Foundation, in Seville, with the presence and intervention of our vice-president Hajj Jalid Nieto.

Among the many guests at the event were Mr. Delegate of Education of Seville, Miguel Angel Arauz and the General Director of Education of the Exmo. City Council of Seville, Mrs. Eva María Contreras. The directors of IES Murillo, CEU and Ramón Carande and the office of the Andalusian ombudsman among others.

The event was conceived as a celebration of participation and encounter, between the young people as protagonists and with their own voice, and the institutional guests who responded from different approaches to the demands and questions raised by the young students from three centers in Seville.

The Seville Mosque Foundation has contributed from the experience of its vice-president a testimony of encouragement and an incentive to life in common among young people, calling them to share and organize themselves to enjoy and better face the challenges of the future.
