Chronology & Status of the project

Below you will find a comprehensive chronological description of the main news and updates in relation to the Project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville, from the creation of the entity to the most present day. An attempt has been made to summarise it all, highlighting the most relevant events, without duplicating news and with links to external media when possible.

We hope that this summary will help to portray, in an easy and clear way, the constant work and progress that has been carried out in recent years in relation to the Project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville.

This summary is exclusive of everything that concerns or directly affects the project, and does not include the countless activities, events, regular activities, services, etc, carried out by the Seville Mosque Foundation and which you can see through our website and social media.

At the same time, the Seville Mosque Foundation publishes an annual report of all its activities, events, trips, etc., which includes an economic summary. These annual reports, written for donors, governments, and related institutions or individuals that have supported us, support us or want to support us, can be requested through the website in the ‘annual reports’ tab.

Despite the self-imposed policy of total transparency, thanks to which you will be able to know in detail the different activities/projects of the Seville Mosque Foundation, for privacy reasons and required discretion, there are options and ongoing operations that have not yet been materialised, that cannot be publicly displayed until they are definitively finalised.

Through our website and socia media you can expand on the information briefly presented here. If you have any questions or require any additional information please do not hesitate to contact us. We also invite you to read through our FAQ page to resolve the most common questions. Any proposal, suggestion or help is always most welcome.

And of course, if you want to join in and support this project, you can do so through our donation page.

We ask Allah to purify our intention in each of our actions, to give us perseverance and constancy in our work for Him, and to give us an ending that is pleasing to Him in this life and the next. Amin
