On June 27, 2025, we had the privilege of receiving an adapted preview of the design of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville, the work of the renowned architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra. Its proposal integrates contemporary innovation with Andalusian tradition, creating a dialogue between heritage and progress that is expressed in a fundamental principle: a modern architecture but with historical roots that forges a distinctive cultural identity, which fits with the urban architecture of Seville and which, without a doubt, will elevate and beautify its surroundings, bringing a new landmark of beauty and meaning to the city.

The design harmonizes geometry, light, and fluid spaces, transforming courtyards, water features, and intricate patterns into a timeless landmark, open both architecturally and principledly. It should be noted that the designs shown are not final, but are in the development phase, with details and decoration reserved for a later stage of the project. This advance was a significant step in the materialisation of the vision of the future centre, bringing us closer to the reality of this emblematic space for Seville.

The most precise architectural nuances, specific decorations and the final interior design of the mosque are still in the definition phase. However, this material is a significant step towards visualising the project, bringing us closer and closer to the reality of this emblematic space for Seville.
