Video of the Press and Institutional Call, Islamic Cultural Center of Seville

Last Thursday, July 16, the Seville Mosque Foundation held a press and institutional call at the Eurostars Torre Sevilla Hotel. A space conceived from transparency and rigour, in which we were able to present the project of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Seville.

We appreciate the attendance and positive attitude of all those present.

During the day, we followed a clear and structured agenda to address all the key aspects:

• Institutional opening, by Luqman Nieto, communication advisor, who welcomed and placed the context of this meeting.
• Presentation of the project, made by the vice president, Jalid Nieto, who made a presentation of the pillars, objectives and social and cultural impact of the initiative.
• Architectural and urban details, by Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra, with an architectural exhibition of the design, integration into the environment and the viability of the space.
• Official response to questions of interest, read by councilor Jadiya Martínez, in which all the doubts and allegations that have arisen in recent days were answered.
• Institutional statement by the president, Ibrahim Hernández, who reaffirmed the ethical, legal and social commitment of the Foundation to the city and to all Sevillians.
• Open question time, where we attended to all the questions raised by the attendees, in an exercise of sincere dialogue and without filters.

As a detail, we delivered a commemorative pin of the Foundation’s 20th anniversary and a QR code with direct access to all the official documentation of the project, because we firmly believe that clear and accessible information is the best tool against misinformation.

We hope that this presentation will help all interested people to understand the true dimension, social benefits and full compliance with the legality of the project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville. Our goal is that no one is left without knowing the reality of the project, beyond rumors or self-serving interpretations.

We reiterate our most sincere gratitude to all those who accompanied us, and we reaffirm our firm conviction that understanding, respect for the law and rigorous work are the way for this project to consolidate itself as a benchmark of coexistence, culture and progress for Seville.
