In March 2026, coinciding with the blessed month of Ramadan, a delegation from the Seville Mosque Foundation made an institutional visit to the United Arab Emirates. The trip aimed to present the 2025 Annual Report and update international partners and collaborators on the progress of the project.
During the meetings, the strategic roadmap for the start of work in 2026 was presented, including the construction schedule and a phased budget designed to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Islamic Cultural Centre, Mosque and Awqaf in Seville. The delegation deeply appreciated the hospitality and support received, as well as the efforts of the Embassy of Spain, and highlighted the security and stability of the country in a complex regional context. The visit has allowed us to strengthen institutional ties and secure key support for the Foundation’s operating expenses, keeping the doors open to future partnerships as we prepare for the next phase of the project.
