The action of the Seville City Council was a “real urban fraud”. This is the main and forceful argument that the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) used to annul the agreement of the governing board of the Seville City Council that, on March 10, 2005, gave away free of charge to the Islamic Community of Spain a plot for the construction of a mosque in the neighborhood of Los Bermejales.

The resolution of the Andalusian High Court revokes the judgment of the Contentious-Administrative Court number 4 of Seville that, at the end of November 2007, agreed with the construction of the mosque in this area of the city.
