The General Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Seville has sent us the content of the message of condolence sent by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Sovereigns of Spain, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia for the vile terrorist attack that shook the center tourist area of Barcelona.
In this message, HM the King claims to have received with great consternation and strong condemnation the news of the execrable terrorist attack that has shaken the center tourist zone of Barcelona, taking the life of several innocent victims and causing numerous wounded.
The Sovereign has expressed to the Spanish Kings the energetic condemnation and deep repulsion of the Kingdom of Morocco to this vile criminal aggression, “opposed to all human values and religious teachings, which has sought to attack the security and stability of your neighboring country and friend”.
With this mournful occasion, HM the King has transmitted to King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, to the families of the victims and to all the Spanish people, their deepest condolences and deep feelings of solidarity and compassion, praying to the Almighty to bring a quick recovery to the wounded, welcome the dead in their holy mercy, and grant them, as well as their relatives and friends, all their comfort.
The Sovereign also reiterated to the Spanish kings the expression of Morocco’s absolute solidarity with Spain, a friendly country, as well as its full adherence to international efforts aimed at combating the scourge of terrorism and eradicating its sources, His most sincere sentiments of sympathy and compassion, together with the highest expression of his consideration.
