On September 15, the Seville Mosque celebrated Mawlid al-Nabi, remembering the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, salla allahu alaihi wa sallam. During the event qasidas were recited and Hajj Abdelghani Melara gave a speech on love for the Prophet. The day concluded with a dinner for all attendees.
On September 16, the children had their own celebration, where they learned about the Prophet through stories and activities lovingly prepared by their teachers.
