On the occasion of the ninety-sixth anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic, the Ambassador of Turkey to Spain, His Excellency Mr. Cihad Erginay and Mrs. de Erginay offered a reception on Tuesday, October 29 at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid, to which a delegation from the Mosque Foundation of Seville was invited.
After the protocol greetings, the event began with the national anthems of Turkey and Spain and then the Hon. Mr. Cihad Erginay offered a few words where the close relationship between the two countries was reviewed and the importance of strengthening and maintaining them even in times of difficulty.
Afterwards, a message from the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was read.
The event was attended by numerous foreign ambassadors accredited in Spain, as well as other national and international authorities.
