Coinciding with the month of Ramadan, the Three Cultures Foundation continues the activities framed in the cycle Ramadan between Cultures.
Thus, on June 22nd they offer the opportunity to break the fast (Iftar) with a tasting of the traditional Moroccan food that is made for this occasion. And to which the Seville Mosque Foundation has been invited to participate, and where its Director of Communication, Hajj Khalid Nieto will have the opportunity to say a few words.
Previously, there will be a conference of Anas Bentaouet, secretary of the Azarquiel Association of Moroccan university students based in Seville, who will speak about Meaning and symbol of Ramadan.
With the fall of the sun, the time will come for the coexistence, the encounter and the dialogue with the attending public, who will be able to enjoy the traditional dishes and sweets.
To end the program for that day, the musician Youssef el Houssaini will offer a concert inspired by ancient melodies of the traditions of Muslim Al-Andalus, Christian Iberia and Jewish Sefarad with the lute and Arabian percussion as protagonists.
Like last year, the Foundation wants to share this tradition of fasting with other cultures with the desire to share and generate links with other groups. In this sense, the activities are open to the public and representatives of different religious denominations will be invited.
Activity organized by the Tres Culturas Foundation with the collaboration of the Consulate General of Morocco in Seville and the Azarquiel Association.
