On Friday, February 24th, Hajj Khalid Nieto, spokesman for the Seville Mosque Foundation, is invited to give a talk titled, ‘Islam in the perspective of an historical Andalusia’, to where you are all invited.
The class will cover four points.
- Valuation of the book “History and culture of the Andalusian people” (Anagrama 1973) by Jose Acosta Sanchez, professor of political law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
- Concept of historical continuity of the social formation of the south of the peninsula.
- A valued reading of the civilization of Al Andalus.
- Brief perspective of historical andalusian and its valuation of Islam.
This class is part of a series of talks organized by the Andalusian Muslim Community on Spirituality, Islam and Andalusia, held every Friday at 9pm at its center at C/ Valle, 24 (Puerta Osario).
