BEGINNING OF THE MONTH OF DHUL HIJJAH AND ‘ID AL ADHA – 1439/2018 Monday, August 13, 2018 The president of the Islamic Community in Spain announces that on the night of Sunday, August 12, the new moon has been seen outside Granada, which indicates the beginning of the month of Dhul Hijjah.
Therefore, it is confirmed that Monday, August 13 is the 1st of Dhul Hijjah, and ‘Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 22, inshaAllah.
I ask Allaah to accept Hajj for all pilgrims and to shower blessings on all Muslims.
