Institutional Iftar at the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation

On Wednesday, April 20, an institutional iftar (breaking of the fast) was held at the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation, to which the Seville Mosque Foundation was invited.

After two years without being able to celebrate due to the pandemic, it has been a real pleasure and honor to be able to celebrate the breaking of the fast in this emblematic place. This year with the special coincidence of the great festivities of the Abrahamic religions: Ramadan, Pesach and Easter.

The event, co-chaired by André Azoulay, Advisor to H.M. The King of Morocco, and Elías Bendodo, Minister of the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Regional Government of Andalusia, was also attended by Mr. Fouad Yazourh, H.E. Mr. Fouad Yazourh, H.E. the King of Morocco. Fouad Yazourh, His Excellency. Ambassador Director General of Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, and other excellencies of the parliament of Andalusia and regional and local authorities.

Father Josep Buades Fuster, on behalf of the Catholic Church, Mr. Isaac Bezaquen, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain and Ibrahim Hernandez, President of the Seville Mosque Foundation, also addressed the guests on behalf of the Abrahamic religions.

The event continued with a generous and delicious iftar and closed with a wonderful concert by Nasamat Duet.
