The Seville Mosque Foundation has a program to distribute 800 lots of food during the month of Ramadan, for people in need, thanks to the donation of a group of families from the United States of America.
Due to logistical constraints, since at the same time a large number of people are being served daily to break the fast, the batches have been prepared with less products than other times, but of high value and quality, consisting of 1kg of dates, 1L of extra virgin olive oil and 1/2kg of honey. With the hope that these will serve to sweeten the blessed month of Ramadan to families with more difficulties, both Muslim and non-Muslim.
At the same time, a first delivery has been made to the NGO Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados, in the person of its manager Mr. Antonio Villalobos, of 30 lots of these products, to be distributed among the disadvantaged population they serve. And taking the commitment to repeat, God willing, this action before the end of Ramadan.
The next distribution will be on Sunday, April 24, from 11h to 14h, at the Mosque, Plaza Ponce de León, 9. Insha Allah.
