The Mezquita de Sevilla Foundation is proud to announce that our President will be attending the Communities of Success Program (COSP), which will take place in Singapore from November 9-13, 2024. This prestigious event, organized by the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF) and supported by the Singapore Cooperation Program (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), provides a unique platform for international delegates to discuss strategies to foster the success of minority Muslim communities.
The Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation, established in 2009, embodies the spirit of “Blessings for All” (“Rahmatan Lil Alamin” in Arabic), radiating compassion and kindness to those in need, regardless of faith, race or creed. Their work aligns perfectly with the commitment of the Mosque of Seville Foundation to serve the Muslim community.
The objectives of the COSP are:
- Build successful communities around the world.
- To promote cooperation between participating countries.
- Share best practices with nations that have minority Muslim populations.
Our President’s attendance is at the invitation of the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation. We look forward to sharing our work and approach with delegates from around the world, learning from diverse experiences, and gaining insights to better address the challenges and opportunities facing minority Muslim communities in the West. We believe this exchange will be invaluable in strengthening our efforts in service to our community.
The 5-day program includes visits to national agencies and Muslim organizations in Singapore, as well as discussions with religious leaders, government officials, and community and youth leaders from around the world.
We look forward to informing you about this enriching experience.
