Collaboration with Hospitals of Seville

The Seville Mosque Foundation has donated to the psychiatric area of the Virgen Macarena University Hospital a batch of books on Islam at the request of its patients.

After some negotiations carried out before this Foundation by the personnel of this service, the monitor of the service Laura García has personally collected in our headquarters a lot of books for the use of the Hospitalized. Several Korans in Arabic were delivered as well as others translated into Spanish by Hajj Abdel Ghani Melara, Imam Jatib of our Foundation. Also books in Spanish with explanations of the sciences of Din and other monographs on the biography of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

We took advantage of the meeting to open our collaboration to the Social Services of the Virgen Macarena as we have been doing for several years with families of hospitalized children with few resources in the Virgen del Rocio Hospital, thus putting our grain of sand to the great social work done by so many institutions in the city.

The meeting was very positively valued by both parties with the intention that this bond created will be strengthened with future collaborations.
