Tafsir class (commentary and explanation of the Qur’an), taught by Imam Hajj Abdel Ghani Melara, in which he explains tafsir, based on several of the recognized commentators.
Ayatul Kursi;
(1) Alif, Lam, Mim.
(2) That Book, no doubt, contains guidance for the fearful (of their Lord).
(3) Those who believe in the Unseen*, establish salat* and from the provision We have allotted to them, give. *In Arabic “al-ghayb”, which means the fact of being absent, beyond the reach of the senses. It is everything that is not in sight, even if it is latent and not necessarily invisible; or everything that is not known. It encompasses everything that is the object of the Imamate or belief: Allah, His angels, the Hereafter, etc… However in the context in which it appears here there is also another meaning according to which it should be translated: “Those who believe when no one sees them.”] * [La oración preceptiva.]
(4) And those who believe in the Revelation that came down upon you and in that which came down before you; and of the Hereafter they have certainty.
(5) They are the ones who go in a direction of their Lord and they are the ones who will succeed.
Classes are open every Monday between the maghrib and isha salats.
It is a unique opportunity that we have in Seville to benefit from these classes of Hajj Abdel Ghani, to whom we are tremendously grateful for his service and dedication.
