On January 14th a gala dinner was held to raise funds for the project of the Seville Mosque Foundation to build a mosque and Islamic cultural center in Seville.
The dinner was organized by El Faeza Ul-Haqq Productions and Mohammed Siddiq, from the Tirmidhi Foundation, and took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The dinner began with a recitation of Qur’an and featured performances by artists such as Faizal Tahir and Lah Ahamed, as well as the Andalusian music group Hamid Ajbar Ensamble, who were specially invited for this event. Ustad Zul Rambli and Ibrahim Hernández, vice president of the Seville Mosque Foundation, also spoke during the event. The event was presented by the actress and presenter Daphne Iking.
Finally, there was a silent auction of works of art made by Spanish artists with Andalusian motifs.
The Seville Mosque Foundation wants to thank immensely the organizers of this event, the artists, who participated in it voluntarily, the sponsors, the media, and all the invited guests for their presence and support for the project.
We hope to participate and organize many more events that unite the hearts of Muslims around the world.
