Hajj Khalid Nieto, head of communication at the Seville Mosque Foundation, has inaugurated an exhibition at the International Festival of Plastic Arts in Settat, Morocco, together with Hajj Ahmed Ben Yessef, a famous Moroccan painter based in Spain.
This exhibition, called ‘Dialogue of the letter and the brush’, consists of a series of poems, written by Hajj Khalid Nieto, and a series of drawings, made by Hajj Ahmed Ben Yessef, which complement each other.
In this joint exhibition, the letter, through poetry, captures and transmits a message and feeling that is in turn captured by the drawings.
The festival was inaugurated by the governor of the province of Casablanca and the exhibition received the symbol of recognition of the festival, presented by the delegate of culture of the same province.
This is not the first time that this exhibition has come to Morocco, having previously been exhibited in Tangier, as well as in Mértola, Portugal, and soon, God willing, also in Dos Hermanas, Seville.
