Eid al-Fitr Gallery 1447 / 2026

Following the confirmation that the moon was sighted in our reference zone, it was declared that the Eid al-Fitr celebration would take place on Friday, March 20th.

This year, because of the rain, the Eid prayer was held at the Mosque. There was an overflowing of people trying to find their space for the prayer in the corridors, the patio, the ablution areas, and even the kitchen. This highlights the imminent need for an elevated, expansive place of worship for a growing Muslim community. Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless this city with one that is bigger, better, and a source of light and mercy in Seville.

Prior to the prayer, Zakat al-Fitr was collected and distributed to those in need, fulfilling our duty of charity. Being Friday, we had the immense blessing of also carrying out the Jumu’ah prayer on the same day.

On Sunday, once the weather cleared up, the community gathered to celebrate Eid at Corchuela Park. With an open invitation for everyone to come with their families, we shared a wonderful meal together.

With special treats for the kids, games, and lots of fun, it was the perfect moment to take a break from our everyday routine, connect with one another, and break bread. This gathering was a beautiful reminder of the Rahma (Mercy) of Allah and the immense benefits of community—an especially vital refuge in the times we are living in. Alhamdulillah.

We thank Allah for the gift of Islam and ask Him to make us and our descendants those who always renew the bonds of brotherhood, and those who are the forerunners of the Din. Amin.

Eid Mubarak to all!
