NASIRI DUA
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
May Allah bless our Master Muhammad and his family.
You!
Whose mercy is the only way out
and in Whom the one in dire need takes refuge.
You!
Whose indulgence is near
and you are its Owner and you help everyone who asks for help.
To You we cry for help, You who helps the weak.
And You are sufficient for us, O Lord, and You are Enough.
For there is nothing more majestic than the immensity of Your power,
Nor anything more awe-inspiring than Thy irresistible impetus.
Before the might of Your dominion kings humble themselves.
You lower and elevate the condition of whom You will.
All matters are referred to You.
And it is in Your hands whether they are settled or not.
We have lifted up our case to You.
And to You we turn complaining of our weakness.
Have mercy on us, You who have not ceased to know our weaknesses
our weakness and do not cease to be merciful.
Look at what afflicts us on the part of men,
our state among them you see.
Our troops are few and our resources scarce
And we are a weak army among the rest.
They have found us weak in strength and drive
And they have found us deficient in numbers and preparation.
So we, O Thou whose dominion cannot be taken away!
We seek refuge in Your Influence that cannot be defeated.
To You, O helper of the needy!
We turn to You
And in Thee, O refuge of the weak, we lean.
You are the one we call upon to remove our difficulties.
You are our hope to repel sorrows.
You are the providence from whom we do not expect protection
who does not come through your door.
Thou art He at Whose door we come to Whose favor we go
The most Generous of all who enrich with His overflowing gift!
You are the One Who guides when we go astray
You are the One Who forgives when we err.
You encompass in knowledge all that you have created
As well as in benevolence, compassion and forbearance.
And there is no one in existence more insignificant than us
Nor more in need of those beside You than we.
Thou whose goodness is immense,
Thou whose goodness fills mankind and to no other is there recourse.
You who rescue the drowning one!
O full of tenderness!
Thou who saves him who is to perish O full of favor!
The siege narrows, O Thou who hearest!
You who answer!
And the medicine is hard Oh Quick!
Oh Close!
In supplication to Thee, our Lord, we have stretched out our hands.
And from Thee, our Lord, we expect benevolence.
Be gracious to us in what Thou hast decreed
And make us pleased to accept what pleases You.
And replace hardship with ease
And strengthen us with the wind of victory.
And make us to overcome those who have abused
And let the harm of evil be only to those who have sought it.
And subjugate our enemies with force
May it break their cohesion and make them fall down dejected.
It contradicts his desire and spoils his efforts.
It defeats his troops and weakens his conviction.
And hasten, O Lord, Thy vengeance upon them.
For they cannot escape Thy power.
Sir!
Lord!
We have clung to the rope of Your protection
and to the power of Thy victorious help.
And may you, Lord, be for us and not against us.
And do not abandon us for a moment.
For we have no strength to defend ourselves
Nor are we able to devise anything to our advantage.
And we have not wished to turn but to Thy bountiful door.
Nor do we expect anything but Thy all-encompassing favor.
And what of Thy goodness awaits the good opinions about Thee.
It is simply that you say: Be!
And be.
Sir!
Lord!
Through You we can reach what is near to You
And for you it is accessed.
Lord!
You are our high pillar.
Lord!
You are our impregnable fortress.
Lord!
Make us safe
when we travel and when we stay.
And protect, Lord!
Our crops and our livestock
And protect our commerce and make our store of goods abundant.
And make our country a country of Din
And a rest for the needy and the poor.
And grant it among the other countries power,
Inviolability, impregnability and supremacy.
And make its might come from a guarded secret
And its safeguarding from a beautiful veil.
And let there be for the sad, for the qaf and for the nun
a thousand veils to preserve it.
By the influencing power of the light of Thy noble countenance
And the power of influence of the secret of Thy immense dominion.
And the power of influence of “La ilaha illa’llah”
And the power of influence of the best of creatures, O your Lord!
And the power of influence of that for which you were asked by the Prophets,
And the power of influence of that for which the Awliyah asked of thee.
And the power of influence of the worth of the Qutub and the Awtad
And the status of the Yars and the Afrad.
And the power of influence of the Chosen and the Nuyaba
And that of the Abdal and that of the Nuqaba.
And the power of influence of every worshipper and invoker
And of every praiser and thankful one.
And the power of influence of all whose worth you have raised,
both those whose reputation you have concealed and those whose reputation you have disclosed.
And the power of the influence of the verses of the Precise Book
And of the Supreme, Exalted Name.
Sir!
Lord!
We have come before you
in a state of need, weak and insignificant.
And we have implored Thee with the supplication of one who implores
to a generous Lord who does not reject those who come to Him.
Accept then our plea out of sheer favor
with the acceptance of one who does not demand rigorous accounts.
And grant us the favor of the Generous One
And give us the kindness of the Indulgent.
And display upon us Thy mercy, O Compassionate One!
And extend over us Thy grace, O Generous One!
And chooses for us in all our words
And chooses for us in all our deeds.
And make it our habit, O Lord, to cling to
To the Sunna of the noble ones and devotion.
And make our different purposes converge in You
And make known to us a full knowledge of Thee.
And unites for us knowledge and action
And directs our hope towards the abode of Permanence.
And make us to follow the path of the Happy Ones
And seal our life, O Lord, with the seal of the martyrs.
And make our children virtuous and upright
And people of knowledge who act and give counsel.
And put well, O Lord, in our families
And make our union easy, O Lord!
Lord!
And give him Your clear opening
whoever holds the government and gives glory to Din.
And help him, You who have the supremacy,
And fill his heart with that which is pleasing to Thee.
And help our Din of Muhammad, O Lord!
And make its glory at the end as when it began.
And protect him, O Lord, with the protection of the ‘ulama
And raise the minaret of his light to heaven.
And blot out, dispense and forgive our faults
And the faults of every Muslim O our Lord!
And give Thy grace O Lord! to the Chosen One
Thy grace with His full worth.
Thy grace upon him well done
As befits the loftiness of his worth.
And then to his noble family
And to his illustrious companions and those who follow them.
And praise be to Allah, the One through Whose praise
He obtains his whole purpose who procures anything.
Shaykh Muhammad – Fatha – ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Nasir ibn ‘Amr ad-Dar’i al-Aghlabi (d. 1085 AH)
“…It has been proven that this supplication relieves sorrows and helps to overcome difficult situations, especially when they have to do with society and are related to issues that concern all Muslims. This is the custom of Muslims: to seek refuge in Allah the Almighty in times of difficulty. Your Lord says: “Call to me and I will answer you.” (40: 60)
And we ask Allah the Almighty to give a good term to our lives and the lives of all Muslims, to make us follow the path of the best Salaf of the Muslim Community, to fill our hearts with what pleases Him, and to be kind to us in all states. Salam.”
