The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco celebrated last thursday, July 30th in Madrid, the Feast of the Throne to commemorate the sixteenth anniversary of the accession of King Muhammad VI to the Throne. The reception, which was attended by representatives from the Seville Mosque Foundation, was organized at the Madrid Shooting Club. The ambassador from Morocco in Spain, Mohamed Fadel Benyaich, who was accompanied by Ambassador Tizniti Nabila, addressed a few words of welcome to those present, thanking them for their presence.
In his discourse, the ambassador also referred to the relations between the two Kingdoms as well as to the promising prospects of cooperation between the two neighboring countries. The reception was attended by the Minister of Justice, Rafael Catalá, who attended with his wife; And several senior Foreign Ministry officials such as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ignacio Ybáñez and the general director of the Maghreb, Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Manuel Gómez-Acebo.
Also attending the event were several personalities from political, economic, diplomatic and military life such as former Defense Minister Jose Bono, former Foreign Minister Trinidad Jiménez, who was accompanied by her husband, and the former Foreign Minister, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, as well as representatives of the media, art and culture.
