The crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the Government to take a series of economic measures to try to alleviate the effects of the coronavirus. Below is a list of some of the aid and measures taken by the Government, which will be updated as we go along.

This document is intended as an aid, which will be updated regularly and in no case replaces the official channels of the State where you can see all the measures and aid taken as they come out. All the information in this document comes from the official accounts and pages of the Government.

The Council of Ministers approves a RDL allowing #sMEs and #self-employed to defer all April tax returns to mitigate the economic impact caused by the #COVID19 crisis.

The #CMin approves a RDL of urgent measures to favor the temporary hiring of workers in the agricultural sector.

The RDL of extraordinary measures approved today in #CMin and valid until June 30, 2020, will allow the compatibility of unemployment benefits or other benefits of a social or labor nature, with the performance of agricultural tasks.

The regulation establishes that people whose homes are close to the places where the work is to be carried out may benefit from the flexibilization measures. The employer must ensure at all times the availability of means of prevention against #COVID19.

Eligible beneficiaries:

  • Persons who at the entry into force of the RDL are unemployed or in a situation of cessation of activity.
  • Workers with contracts suspended due to temporary closure of the activity (except workers affected by the ERTES due to #COVID19).
  • Migrants whose work permit expires in the period between the declaration of the state of alarm and June 30, 2020.
  • Young third-country nationals, between 18 and 21 years of age, who are in a regular situation.

Income obtained from this employment activity will not be taken into account for the purposes of the income limits established for contributory or non-contributory Social Security benefits, including minimum supplements for contributory pensions.

El #CMin aprueba un #PermisoRetribuidoRecuperable para las personas trabajadoras de servicios no esenciales. Los trabajadores y trabajadoras disfrutarán de ese permiso, de carácter obligatorio, del 30 de marzo al 9 de abril de 2020, ambos inclusive.

El #PermisoRetribuidoRecuperable no se aplicará a trabajadores/as que:

  • Se encuentren ya teletrabajando
  • Estén en un ERTE
  • Estén sujetos a un procedimiento de incapacidad temporal o con baja de maternidad y paternidad
  • Empresa y representantes de los trabajadores deberán negociar la recuperación de las horas, que no podrá incumplir los periodos mínimos de descanso previstos en la ley.

También se suspende la revisión de los precios máximos de venta al público de gases licuados del petróleo envasados, como las bombonas de butano, y de la Tarifa de Último Recurso de gas natural. Se mantendrán los precios actuales los próximos 6 meses.

Este RDL prorroga también el bono social eléctrico a aquellos beneficiarios que debían renovarlo porque expiraban los dos años de prestación que marca la normativa.
