BEGINNING OF THE MONTH OF DHUL HIJJAH E ‘ID AL ADHA 1440/2019 Thursday, August 1, 2019 The president of the Islamic Community in Spain announces that on the night of Thursday, August 1, the new moon has NOT been seen in Spain or in the reference area. Therefore, it is confirmed that Saturday, August 3, is the 1st of Dhul Hijjah, and ‘Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Monday, August 12, inshaAllah. I ask Allaah to accept Hajj for all pilgrims and to shower blessings on all Muslims.
