On January 14, a gala dinner was held to raise funds for the project of the Mosque of Seville Foundation to build a mosque and Islamic cultural center in Seville.
The dinner was organized by El Faeza Ul-Haqq Productions and Mohammed Siddiq, from the Tirmidhi Foundation, and took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Under the NGO Projek Mezquita.
The dinner began with a recitation of the Quran and featured performances by artists such as Faizal Tahir and Lah Ahamed, as well as the Andalusian music group Hamid Akhbar Ensamble, who were specially invited for this event.
Also speaking during the event were Ustad Zul Rambli and Ibrahim Hernández, vice president of the Seville Mosque Foundation.
The event was hosted by actress and presenter Daphne Iking.
To conclude, a silent auction of works of art made by Spanish artists and with Andalusian motifs was held.
The Seville Mosque Foundation would like to thank immensely the organizers of this event, the artists, who participated in it voluntarily, the sponsors, the media, and all the guests for their presence, welcome and support for the project.
We hope to be able to participate and organize many more events that will unite the hearts of Muslims around the world.
Soon more projects will be carried out with Projek Mezquita to which we are tremendously grateful for the effort and generosity.
