Xenophobia and Islamophobia in Seville

The mosque and headquarters of the Seville Mosque Foundation has dawned today with slogans and threats of hatred, xenophobia and Islamophobia.

Nobody should take advantage of these horrible events in Barcelona, which we have publicly condemned, as humans, Spaniards and Muslims, to oppress and threaten any group.

The Seville Mosque Foundation was born of a group of Sevillian Muslims who have been active in this city for over thirty-five years defending coexistence, social dialogue, totally against any radical position and promoting civilizing, dynamic and living Islam, and making it known by its reality and its light, through example and service.
