Reception at the Pavilion of Hassan II, headquarters of the Three Cultures Foundation, at the invitation of the General Consul of Morocco in Seville, Mr. Farid Aoulouhaj, XVIII Anniversary of the Ascension to the Throne of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Following the presentation by Mr. Jose Manuel Cervera, Director of the Tres Culturas Foundation, there were two institutional speeches. The first by Mr. Consul, Farid Auolouhaj and later by Ms. Lieutenant Mayor Carmen Castreño by the Town Hall of Seville.
Both agreed to review the recent signing of a protocol of relations between the city of Seville and the municipality of Marrakech. Vowing to develop this initiative.
Our representatives greeted both of them by putting our institution, the Seville Mosque Foundation, at the disposal of both organizations.
The event was attended by the Subdelegation of Government, representatives of the Junta de Andalucia, the consular corps accredited in the city and representation of the military and police authorities of the city. At the same time, the business sector and people from the cultural and university world were present.
Mr. Consul especially thanked the Moroccan community resident in Seville for his presence on such a special day for his country.
The event was attended by Hajj Khalid Nieto, his wife Hajja Atika Jiménez, Hajja Jadiya Martínez and Abdellah Gonzalez, representing the Seville Mosque Foundation.
