The Pillars of Islam

Said Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace:‘Islam has been built on five pillars, witnessing that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His messenger, performing prayer, paying Zakat, performing Hajj and fasting in Ramadan’ (Reported by Bukhari and Muslim).

Based on this Hadith (saying of the Prophet) and many others in which it is made clear that these are the five pillars of Islam, we will try to explain them as simply and clearly as possible with the help of Allah.
