Women’s power in Islam’, Jadiya Martinez, Almonaster

On October 14, 2023, Hajja Jadiya Martinez delivered a speech on the power of women in Islam to the audience present at the XXIII Jornadas de cultura Islámica de Almonaster. Representing the Islamic Community in Spain, Hajja Jadiya’s talk was part of a program by the Seville Mosque Foundation in its annual presentation of Islam and the community at the Almonaster event.

She discussed the great role and importance of women through the traditional lens, uncovers and clarifies the many misconceptions portrayed by modern media so that we come to an intact and liberating view of the intrinsic power of women that needs to be expressed and released for a healthy functioning of society.
