On May 16 and 17, the FICRT Foundation (Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religious Tolerance) organized the first edition of the Cordoba Meetings at the Casa Árabe in Cordoba, under the title “From Islam-Christian dialogue to the Abrahamic family”, to which the president and vice-president of the Seville Mosque Foundation were invited.
The event, organized by FICRT, had the collaboration of the University Institute of Religious Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (IUCCRR-UCM) and the Unesco Chair of Conflict Resolution of the University of Cordoba.
The scientific committee was composed of; Jumaa Alkaabi – President of the FICRT Foundation, Josep Puig (Complutense University of Madrid) and Mohammed Dahiri (Complutense University of Madrid) – Scientific Coordinator.
The two-day event was presented by Jumaa Alkaabi, president of FICRT and was attended and addressed by Ms. Cintia Bustos, from the Cordoba City Council and Mr. Cintia Bustos, from the Cordoba City Council. Ms. Cintia Bustos, from the City Council of Cordoba and Mr. Fernando Lopez Mora – Deputy Director of the UNESCO Chair in International Cooperation. Fernando López Mora – Deputy Director of the UNESCO Chair in Conflict Resolution at the University of Cordoba.
Among the speakers were H.E. Dr. Nedal Alteneiji, Director General of Zayed House of Islamic Culture, UAE, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Spain.
