We are pleased to announce that the Seville Mosque Foundation has been invited to participate in the 2025 Monfí Festival in Cútar, where our Vice President, Jalid Nieto, will give a lecture entitled “Almonaster and Cútar: Two Rural Mosques, Functions, and Practices,” an analysis of the historical and cultural value of these emblematic spaces.
The event, which will be held on October 4 and 5, will transform the streets of Cútar into an authentic Andalusian souk, with activities such as dramatized tours, concerts by Sephardica and the Al-Haiek Orchestra, craft workshops, and cultural talks.
As a gesture of reciprocity and collaboration, the Cútar City Council is invited to participate in the Islamic Culture Conference in Almonaster la Real (Huelva), which will take place from October 10 to 12. Within this framework, there will be a special presentation of the Monfí Festival of Cútar and its Andalusian manuscripts, which will include:
Recitation of the Quran of Cútar.
