Last Wednesday 25th we had the pleasure of receiving the first visit of the year of Verto Education at the Mezquita Foundation in Seville, with the presence of two fantastic groups of American students in the first and third year of their degree. As part of their academic research on the three Abrahamic religions—Islam, Christianity, and Judaism—the students visited our mosque to learn first-hand about a Muslim’s testimony to Islam.
We begin each session with an introduction to the three fundamental dimensions of our practice: Islam as an external practice, the Imam as a depth of faith, and Ihsan as the pursuit of excellence and spiritual beauty. After the talk, we enjoyed an open Q session where we could see the great interest and curiosity of these students, who year after year come ready to break down barriers and promote mutual understanding.
We would like to thank Elisa from Verto Education from the bottom of our hearts for coordinating this very special visit. We greatly value the exceptional courtesy and respect you showed towards the Fundación Mezquita de Sevilla and our community at all times. It is a real luxury to receive you!
