With deep gratitude, we address all those whose dedication and generosity have made this Ramadan a truly special time, filled with blessings.
We would like to begin by expressing our sincere gratitude to the families who, with boundless generosity, have paid for and prepared the harira every day. Your immense effort has enabled more than 4,000 rations of food to be distributed throughout this holy month.
“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward equivalent to his own, without thereby diminishing the reward of the fasting person in any way.” [At-Tirmidhi]
To those who, day after day, have served food, picked up and cleaned; those whose work has been more visible and also those who have gone more unnoticed. To those who have ensured that our mosque always remains open, in order and perfumed.
Our special recognition to Sidi Ali, from the La Blanca Paloma Butcher in La Macarena, for his admirable gesture of donating the meat for the harira during the whole of Ramadan.
To Sidi Ahmed Ali, for his daily contribution of exquisite bread, and to those who were in charge of transporting it to us.
To Hajj Abdel Gani and the rest of the speakers, for enlightening us with their wisdom and sensitivity in the talks prior to the iftar.
To Mohammed Nouri, for the deep emotion and baraka that he has instilled in our evenings with his recitation of the Qur’an during the Taraweeh prayers.
To those who have kept alive the tradition of the daily recitation of the Hizb of the Qur’an after the prayer of the Asr.
And to all the people who, with their sadaqa, their presence, their smile and their kindness, have contributed to creating an atmosphere of brotherhood and peace in the mosque.
In a very special way, we thank our brothers at the Tirmidhi Foundation, whose support has been fundamental to make all this a reality.
We also extend our thanks to Diyanet, Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi and Kenan Oral, for the valuable donation of 150 food kits during this month, as well as to all those who made this help possible.
May Allah accept our fasting, our night prayers and each of our good deeds; May he fill all those who have participated with his generosity and effort with the best in this life and in the next, and may he grant us to always remain in the best of company, here and in the hereafter. Amin.
