Assalamu Alaikum,
Over the past year a huge effort has been taken in regards to the progress of the project of the Mosque, Islamic Cultural Centre and Awqaf of Seville, as well as in our activities and presence locally and internationally.
Writing this letter only days after the inhuman and nihilistic attacks perpetrated in Barcelona, and after reflexion, council and contemplating the polarized reactions of our society, we have only but strengthened our position, determination and the necessity to build the Mosque, Islamic Cultural Centre and Awqaf of Seville.
Now, more than ever, it is crucial to have an open, transparent and clear image and understanding of our Deen. It is time to send the world a message of the true essence for which Islam stands for, and that which is againt.
We believe that we can have a huge impact in our society by service, action and example. Everyone is looking at us and, as Muslims, we have to show what Islam truly is, through the highest qualities of character embodied and transmited to us all through our beloved messenger, Muhammad, ﷺ.
We thank with all our heart the thousands of Muslims that have supported us and ask Allah to protect and reward all of them with the best of rewards in this life and the next. Amin.
