Registration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait

After the visit with Oumar Kanoute to Kuwait in March 2019 and the request by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry to be registered in order to receive any type of aid, the process to be able to register begun.

On March 11, 2020, the Seville Mosque Foundation was registered and accredited in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, a mandatory requirement to receive funds from the State, organization or any person from Kuwait. The news came two days before the lockdown for the coronavirus pandemic, and after a year of hard work, investment and perseverance to meet all the requirements. The Seville Mosque Foundation was thus the first and only Spanish entity accredited in Kuwait at the time.

Since then, we have been working with the Ministry of Awqaf and Foreign Affairs in order to receive their support for the project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville.
