Iftar in Huelva; ¨Encounter between cultures, for an inclusive neighborhood¨, CODENAF

Under the title “Meeting between cultures, For an inclusive neighborhood” CODENAF Huelva has organized an iftar, breaking of the fast, with representatives of institutions and neighbors of the Perez de Cubillas neighborhood, for both Muslims and non-Muslims.

Prior to the iftar there was a presentation of the different guests and after the iftar Hajj Jalid Nieto, Vice President of the Seville Mosque Foundation, addressed a few words to all attendees.

Among the guests present were the Vice Consul of Morocco for Western Andalusia.

Everything that was offered as iftar and dinner was made by a group of Maghrebi women who have started a catering and take-out project.

The prevailing atmosphere was one of exquisite cordiality. And the event was valued very positively by all parties involved. Our most sincere thanks for the invitation.

Hajj Khalid’s speech consisted of a presentation of Islam explicitly extending on the pillar of Ramadan. He spoke of his times, of the sincerity and truth in the fasting, of his generosity and justice. And of one of its secrets. Lailatul qadir.
