Last Friday, after doing the yumua at Masjid India, a crowded mosque in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, we had the pleasure of being invited to the Majlis of Datuk Faroz Jakel.
Datuk Faroz, whom we had the honour of receiving recently in Seville with his family, is a man of closeness, kindness and generosity recognised in many corners of the world.
In the Majlis we met the Grand Mufti of India, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad and Al-Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Al-Hamid, among other renowned Ulema who were in Malaysia for the international meeting of Hadith Sahih Bukhary.
It was an honour to coincide with all of them and we take this opportunity to thank Datuk Feroz again for their hospitality and warm welcome.
